Arrived Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv has the largest metropolitan area in Israel, and It is on the Mediterranean coast, about 60 km northwest of Jerusalem. My trade school classmate living in Tel Aviv kindly picked me up from the airport, fed me a nice welcome dinner (cold noodles 涼麵and sweet & sour soup 酸辣湯), and let me stay in his downtown center apartment which is right next to the train/bus stations, yet unfortunately subject to weekend noisy protestors.
After the improvement of its defense system, Tel Aviv has better shield from missiles, so many new constructions for high rise buildings. It is dry, sunny, and pleasantly cool in the shade.
Next day morning, my classmate led me a neighborhood orientation walk and then dropped me to Jaffa, before going to work.
