Mikumi

 Day 10 - Mikumi

After the breakfast, we took a very bumpy ferry ride back to mainland. I had to hypnotize myself that I was a fetus in a jogging mother’s womb. A lot of people used the sickness bags.

Leaving coast behind, we traveled inland, had packed lunch in the truck, and made our way to Mikumi where we stayed for the night. We stopped by a smaller supermarket, and I bought a bag of local cashew for snack (since I saw many street vendors selling it). So far, I have been using credit card, so I don’t need to hold any local currency.

We arrived the lodge almost 8 pm, after an unjustified stop by a police. After dinner, I showered and went to bed.
