Paphos, Crypus

I took 1st available dropped my bags in front of the hostel, and started touring Paphos from 8 am. I strolled in the Historic Promenade at Paphos Harbour. Paphos Fort, at the tip of the marina, is a squat box with a colourful history as a fort and prison. Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa is a historic church built in the 13th century with colorful mosaic floor and marble columns remain. The catholic church is famous for the pillar of St. Paul.

I took a bus to Aphrodite’s Rock. Aphrodite is the goddess of love, beauty and fertility. She was known as Venus to the Romans. Since I didn’t swim, I could only spent one hour there. Rather waiting for another two hours for the bus, i hitchhiked back to the center bus station, then walked to another site.
