Fish River Canyon

Day 37 – Fish River Canyon

We boarded the truck and traveled south on the gravel byways of Southern Namibia. After a fun stop at Gondwana Canyon Roadhouse that was full of antique cars and road decos and a male toilet that make’s different sounds from different spots received peeps, we arrived the Fish River Canyon, the second largest Canyon on n the world, just next to the Grand Canyon in USA. We took a walk from the inner overlook along the rim of the canyon to the main overlook, and then had lunch with a memorable view on the canyon edge.

We then drove to Ais-Ais, famed for its hot springs and I swam 10 lapses in the the big hot spring pool which was the perfect tonic to ease away the dust of the Namib.
