Ghanzi - Windhoek (Namibia Capital)

Day 27 -  Ghanzi – Windhoek

It was only 38f (3c) last night, and I used everything I had in the thin summer tent to stay warm: I wore a t-short, a Marino wool sweater, and a legging, my new sweatpants wrapped around my legs, a thin synthetic liner, a down coat wrapped around my belly, and then my 3-season sleeping bag. I slept well until 5 am, then5  got out of my tent to the reception area for  Wi-Fi around 6:15 am. Some people took 8 am optional San village Guided Walk after breakfast.

After the village walk, we started 9 am this morning towards west and crossed the border into Namibia, traveling onwards to the capital city of Windhoek. We saw a bunch of vultures clustering on the raid side to eat a roadkill (probably a goat hit by a truck) with only fir and intestines left.

Namibia is nice and clean compared to the other countries I have visited this trip. I love my room with heat, hot water shower and Wi-Fi. I also enjoyed the dinner in the Heja Game Lodge beautifully situated in the mountains with pool, bar, lake, beautiful landscape. Too bad I only stayed one night. It was a paradise compared with the  primitive and cold bush camp last night.
