Kasane, Botswana

 Day 22 - Victoria Falls – Kasane

This morning, I quickly finished breakfast then walked to the famous open air Lookout Cafe that Perches on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, to provide a pectacular views of the gorges and Zambezi River below. I also walked around the trails near the Cafe but didn’t see wildlife.

Starting from 10 am, we traveled a short distance to the Botswana border, crossed into Botswana with all of f our shoes dipped into  sanitizing fluid. Then we had a stop in Kasane for currency exchange, ATM and supermarket shopping (which had some free food tasting). We then arrived at our accommodation in the afternoon, to set up camp on the banks of the Chobe River. We saw some mongooses and monkeys in the camp; however, the pool water looked dirtier than the river water. I had the local beer after setting up my tent, walked around the camp and the town, showered, then had dinner. Now I am ready for bed.
